I am a Clinical Psychologist with a Doctoral degree in Psychology and a License to practice independently in California, awarded by the California Board of Psychology. I believe in assisting people finding their way out of multiple roadblocks they may stumble upon. Depression, anxiety, panick attacks, disruptive behavioral patterns, post traumatic stress, consequences of (early) trauma and/or abuse, and a host of other pains may surface. I have had training and experience in treating children with learning difficulties, youngsters struggling with adoption issues, adults attempting to cope with loss or communication problems, and couples struggling to make their marriage work. I treat people going through life transitions and, to all, I show them they have options ahead of them. There are healthy alternatives to the ones they have chosen so far. Employees who are occasionally struggling with a particular job environment, difficult co-workers, authority figures and-in the current economic uncertainty- a dreaded job loss, all may experience work related anxiety. Panic attacks can be debilitating and sometimes life altering conditions and I would show you how to overcome such conditions/events. At times, psychological testing may be in order to help assess the roots of a particular behavior and/or attitude that may impact negatively your current functioning. If the need arises, I am qualified to conduct psychotherapy in other languages such as Romanian and Hebrew. A multicultural approach may be suited in some cases.

Frequently, you may need a solution focused, specific goal oriented psychotherapy, to reverse old, self-defeating patterns of behavior that is commonly known as cognitive-behavioral therapy. Some other times, however, we may agree on an in-depth approach-commonly known as psychodynamyc therapy- to address your struggles. Regardless of my approach, I would always consider your needs and your best interest first.

At all times, empathic listening, warmth, and the provision of coping skills is what people need in order to grow and learn while doing it. Ideally, you will be reaching your goals and become the person you have always wanted to be: you!
